Ashley Weibe of Chat TV News featured Mike Wheelhouse, who is living with Asperger's. When Mike graduated from High School, he found that the supports that he had received to assist him became fewer, making it difficult for him to find meaningful employment. He struggled with "winging it" and feeling ashamed. He finally sought out the help of Being Human Services. He was able to find a job at Red Hat Coop. and Ada Zavala is very happy with his job performance.

There are many job opportunities for job seekers, including those with disabilities. Support through the process can make a world of difference, not only to assist with job search, but the skills needed for success. Bob Will of Being Human Services helps people like Mike Wheelhouse find something that matches their skill set. As Bob points out, "All they need is a chance. Everybody wants to work and everybody wants to feel valued. So employers who have taken a chance on individuals from our programs have been very well rewarded." Bob also notes "Employers are willing to give them a chance and we have quite a few safe places for them to do work experience ".
