Cultural Insights - The Government of Canada

This information portal provides unique cultural insights on over 100 countries and regions. These insights focus on key intercultural issues from a Canadian and a local point of view.  Choose a country and options are given to explore traditions, religions, language, greetings, views, etc.

 

Intercultural Effectiveness Program - Government of Canada

The Centre for Learning in Intercultural Effectiveness and International Assistance Policy supports the development of intercultural competencies to facilitate successful and sustainable international relations, and foster inclusive teams and organizations.

They support Global Affairs Canada programs and collaborating with individuals and groups from across government, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions and the private sector.

Cultural Crossing Guide

The Culture Crossing Guide is an evolving database of cross-cultural information about every country in the world (over 200 countries listed). This user-built guide allows people from all walks of life to share essential tips with each other about how to navigate our increasingly borderless world with savvy and sensitivity.

Canadian Foreign Service Institute - Government of Canada

The Institute is the primary training provider for Global Affairs Canada. We offer training to clients in federal, provincial and municipal governments. It also offers training to non-governmental organizations, foreign governments and organizations, academic institutions and, in certain cases, private sector companies. The training is offered on a cost-recovery basis.
